47th International Folklore Festival in Agrigento, Sicily and again in 2005, it garnered the
Festival’s golden anniversary Gold Temple award, besting all previous Gold Temple awardees.
It was in Palma de Mallorca, Spain where Bayanihan was awarded the World Prize “Primer Premi Mundial”
during the World Folk Dance Festival in 2007.
